Sunday Funday
Did I just use the most generic title in the world? I think I did. Sorry about that...
If you have ever visited my blog before, which I sure hope you have, you may have noticed a change in the design. After posting yesterday I messed around with the blog's look and accidentally deleted all the configurations I made on the premium theme I had before. Now that I'm not a premium member of Blogg.se I sadly can't use that awesome and very minimalistic theme anymore. I do however think that this solution works pretty well too! The lake in the header photo is lake Vättern, in case you didn't know. Sweden's second biggest lake and also the northern border of Jönköping!
So, what about this Sunday Funday you ask? Well, just now I spilled coffee on my white carpet, thanks for asking. Really though, I'm chilling out at home and trying to prepare for the week ahead. For me that means writing tons of lists and making detailed notes in my planner! I haven't gotten to it yet, but I will as soon as I finish this cup of coffee (less of it left for me since my carpet was thirsty).
And oh, I went dancing tonight as well! Not the alcohol-infused club kind of dancing but like an actual dance class! It's a modern/jazz dance course and we practice every second Sunday. I appreciate it so much! I've never been the type to have much confidence in my body or its' ability to do things so this is really good for me! I'm not as hopeless as I thought I was, haha. As I wrote yesterday, I've been feeling a little low this weekend. For me, when those feelings come, it's really important not to cancel plans that I made before hand. Usually I will just feel ten times more crappy if I stay at home, while if I go out and meet people and do stuff that I normally enjoy things will start to feel better. I'm not saying this is how it works for everybody, some people might actually need to properly retreat, but the dance class today definitely boosted my mood!
That's all for now. I leave you with one of my current favorite pieces of writing that I found on Pinterest recently. I love the hopeful and warm tone that it has!
"We must learn to focus on warm energy, always. Soak our limbs in it and become better lovers to the world. For if we can't learn to be kinder to each other how will we ever learn to be kinder to the most desperate parts of ourselves?"
