The past 6 weeks and 2 days

There has been a lot going on this past month and a half. All the documents are in order for Singapore, and almost all assignments for my last course in Jönköping are finished. I'm finally back in my family home in the south of Sweden, and it's very good to be back here and rest for a while. 6 days to be exact!

I figured the most fun way to update you would be through pictures, so here are some visual highlights from the past 6 weeks or so.

Spectra (the student association I'm active in) participated in a light manifestation in honor of children's rights. Look how pretty it is!

I was working a few days at Dreamhack Winter - a huuuuge e-sport event in Jönköping. I met some great people and had a lot of fun!

Spectra hosted a Revolutionary Music Quiz! To represent the warm and happy atmosphere, here is a photo of me, Moa and Linnea. Two extremely caring, funny and driven people that are very dear to me! <3

This semester I took a dance class! It felt like a good way to challenge myself. I've done a lot of theatre before so I'm no stranger to performing, but dancing is something that I've been very self-conscious and insecure about. I just assumed that it was something I couldn't do. But, with the help of an amazing dance group and teacher, those negative thoughts changed. The photo is from before we did the show. A nervous but determined Julia!

Jönköping means a lot to me. Not only is it beautiful, but it is home to some extremely beautiful people - like Theresia who is pictured above. Without a doubt one of the kindest and most supportive people I've ever met! <3

Some nights are fancier than others! The Christmas feeling didn't really get to me until this wonderful dinner on December 13th. Hosted by part of the Jönköping Student Union, it was a perfect way to wrap up the semester!

As excited as I am about the adventure that is to come, it's hard with all the good byes. Or rather, "see you laters". Jönköping has been amazingly good to me for the past year and a half, and it's bittersweet to go.

Thanks for checking in! I am planning to write an entry about my packing for Singapore. What exactly do you pack for studying abroad + travelling after? Can you fit everything you need in a 65 litre-backpack? Well... I hope so! Stay tuned for that.

Kämpa på, slakta Singapore nu!
Kanske lite vulgärt uttryckt men budskapet når fram

Svar: Tack så mycket för peppen, Anonym! :)
