Kuala Lumpur with Dan
Hejhejhej!
I hope you all have a wonderful Easter holiday and that you get to spend it with people you like, doing things that make you feel good. I'm currently at my desk, listening to some VERY HEAVY rain. Once it clears up, Elin and I are probably heading in to town to have a look around! We are both completely done with our schoolwork, and it feels sooo good! I had about 16 hours of sleep since yesterday (!!) but it was totally what I needed to re-charge.
I realised I never showed you the pictures from mine and Daniel's trip to Kuala Lumpur! Daniel is a very dear friend of mine from Australia, and I was super happy when he came to visit in Singapore. Many many months ago, he vowed to take me to KL and show me a great smoothie place, so we went - sometimes you don't need much more planned than that!

Ask the architect about his favorite building, this is the response you get!

Sooo satisfying.

We also went to see another architectural masterpiece - the National Mosque of Malaysia. It was so beautiful and the atmosphere was very peaceful and serene. This photo was taken shortly before we borrowed clothes to cover with.

A more truthful picture: somewhat confused and very sweaty. I'm not sure what I was talking about here?

We were allowed to take photos of this room (used for prayer if I'm not wrong), but not step inside.

The next day we went on adventures with John and Harry, two great Brits that we met in the hostel. Shortly after this was taken, John decided to take of his slippers only to burn the soles of his feet on the asphalt.

The weekend also included a bar crawl, frogs on skewers, a visit to the botanic gardens, a migraine and some shopping. It was a short but fun-filled weekend!

View from the bus back. The bus-ride between Singapore and KL takes around 5 or 6 hours and is great place for a nap!
Those were some of my KL snapshots, I hope you enjoyed them! Stay safe, hydrated and educated until next time! / Julia.
