Mint Museum of Toys

Hello again!

I was going to say "I hope you had ha good week", but then I realised that it's only Wednesday. Says quite a lot about my mood, doesn't it? Today I had two tests (Bilingualism and Chinese) and tomorrow is my VERY LAST class in NTU. I'm enjoying a well deserved cup of tea and I thought this would be a good time to show you some photos from Mint Museum of Toys. I went there last week with my group from the Cultural Intelligence class. I'm a little sad that tomorrow is our last seminar together.

Pretty cool street art! You don't see too much of it here in Singapore so I was excited about it!

There was a lot of retro toys, which shouldn't be surprising since it is a museum.

Part of the Batman-exhibit. It was really really cool to see all these retro toys, and I kept imagining what it must have been like for the children that played with these toys back in the day.

Sue from Korea, Andy from Italy and Shu Kai from Singapore. A wonderful group of people!

My favorite type of spots! My obsession with dalmatians goes a long way back, since we had a dalmatian dog when I was growing up and my parents have one now.

Retro dolls from China - a coal miner and a soldier.

THE BEATLES SHELF?! I did not expect to find it, and I was exstatic when I did. Made me think of my sister, mother and aunt who are all massive fans of the Beatles.

I don't know about you but I would sooo want a lunch box like this... if it wasn't 3000 US dollars!

Not the best photo, but still cool that their signatures were there as well!

That's all for now, cheers!
I'll get back to you soon, and I hope I'll be better at blogging when school and all the deadlines are over. If you want to see more frequent updates you can head over to my Instagram (@julia.sundqvist). I had to make it private a while ago but feel free to send a follow request! 🖤
