More of Mount Bromo
Some spectacularly steep slopes later, we ended up near the Bromo vulcano crater. A few hundred steps had been put in place, so we could walk right up to the edge of it! Definitely the first time I've "climbed" a vulcano before breakfast... Short of breath and a little shaky from the height, but happy nontheless!

So many pairs like these, with the people selling rides on their horses' backs. Some of them were really skilled riders, undoubtedly, but it was still kind of unsettling. Many of the horses were very young and it must have been a tough job for them, carrying lazy tourists all day.

After walking for a while it seemed more understandable why some would prefer the horseback, but we kept walking.

I MEAN... Views! I get excited just looking at this photo, at home behind my screen. Someone call National Geographic?

A foggy view from the top. I left out the pictures of my face because I was either red from the exercise it took to get up, or pale as a ghost from fear of falling.
