Recess week part 1 - Yogyakarta and Borobudur Temple
Ah, finally back to the everyday life and some routine. I've been looking forward to showing you what's been going on these past weeks. Thank you for being so patient!
Firstly, I must say that the homesickness that I battled when I wrote the last post has lessened. Walking on unknown ground, spending time with friends and having long talks with loved ones back home sure helped. I'm not feeling so restless and things aren't looking so dull anymore. Recess week was just what I needed.
Speaking of, I have divided the recess week into a couple of different post so that it's easier to navigate for you. I have so many photos to share with you! First post is dedicated to the city of Yogyakarta, on the Indonesian island of Java. Here we go!

Creative use of helmets... everybody drove a scooter, most didn't wear protection gear. Guess now we know why!

A very common situation in Yogya, at least for Elin. Say cheese!

We took a day-trip to this impressive temple, Borobudur. Well worth a visit!

Elin and Yining, my wonderful travelling company!

Monochrome matchy-matchy.
