Day 1: Arriving and Exploring
Hejhej!
I made it to Australia! I honestly can't express how good it feels to finally be here. The 8 hour-flight was smooth and I slept through most of it. When I came to Sydney Daniel met up with me and the first thing we did was eat... at Ikea! It sounds almost like a joke, but I consider it a smooth transition into the Australian life and culture. Apparently the store we went to is the only one to stock certain things, so after having köttbullar we went on a mission to find what was on Daniel's list. It took longer than expected, but once that was done we went down to Bondi Beach!

We dipped our feet in the water which was both cold and exciting. I managed to get my tights wet because I didn't realise how big the waves were. Once our feet were dry we followed a nice walking track.

I don't know what I'm most jealous of - this girl's poncho or her pack of dogs.

It was a really nice walk and I think I even got a little sunburnt in my face. Shortly after this photo was taken we headed to a nearby train station and caught a train to go meet Aiden, Daniel's friend, for dinner.

Daniel and Aiden showed me around in the city after dinner, we did lots of walking but unfortunately I did not take many photos.

I call this one Opera House Moonlight Blur! I feel like there is still so much left to see and do in Sydney, but it will have to wait a couple of weeks. Next up: Canberra!
